This question first popped into my mind when watching the Keynote, a journalist mentioned that the iPhone will change the cell phone industry. Smart phones have been around for a long time so what is so special about the iPhone? Well the answer is quite simple, The iphone has changed the phone industry because it has started many things. One of the bigest features that the iPhone has to offer is it’s web browsing capabilities. The iPhone was the first mobile device to have a full web browser. This was one of the bigest breaks in mobile history. For years people were disapointed that they could not view the full website, meaning that their browser rerouted the URL to a mobile version of that webpage. The iPhone however allowed people to view the entire internet with a few exceptions including online games. Apple really did change the mobile phone market by giving people what they want. This maybe because they ask the consumers what they want, they tell Apple, and Apple improves in these fields. Steve Jobs created a checklist on what needed to be improved, this is very unique. Jobs is asking us what we want and giving it to us, what more could we ask for? It all boils down to Apple leadership with a strong workforce behind them changing our lives.
